TheWitchBoi's News

I think the only missing thing for this game now, is a story! I know that's a big part, but with all the possibilities this game can be taken, i don't know what to do. Although I will pick a story soon. But this one comes to mind...

*You, the spy, were sent on a mission to do some recon in a unknown city, which hasn't been on the charts for a while, most likely forgotten (note: the year is 2030, but the game isn't futuristic!). You and your team see the town, but all of a sudden, a missle is launched from the deserted town and your team panics. Your ship has been hit and are now crashing down. Everything goes black...and find yourself stranded from your team. You must find them along with completing the mission, finding more about this town.*

???

The story begins...soon

Recently i have been tinkering around with SotC and have made rather far progression and made good music for my game. Recntly i have been messing around, tryin out Leveling-up additions and world map overviews. The game has no difference to it yet (for now...) but i'm mostly taking this in a RPG style game.

The picture below is level 1, the city. That's it, no more sneaky peeks!

btw, I mainly work here now (sorry youtubers...).

:D

I haven't gone missing...

HAI GUYS! Haven't heard from for like- ever! I got a programmer for SotC in case you didn't know (i seriously can't program this, my programmer is apperantly a master) and i have 2 potential musicians, but i may need a back-up person (that's you!).

I've been thinking on how SotC is going to turn out, i'm still working on all of the graphics, but i may stop and review how the game shall be played, i'm debating on whether it should be a normal story platformer, or a free roaming rpg (then i may change the title.). Leave your concerns in the comments.

You may notice the spy has brought a few friends, i may take SotC into a multiplayer optioned game to!

The Link's lesson in Love assignment for me for Open Ocean Productions is sadly, cancelled :( Computer that i was working on with it had Flash CS4 Pro, and CRASHED! :( Motherboard was fried...

***note for OOP, You may contribute to my SotC game by making music, art, etc. and you WILL be credited! All contributions must be informed of by you in a PM to me. Otherwise, you can't contribute :(***

PROGRESS OF THE GAME: 20%

***this will be the final pic of levels***

OMG LOL NOOBS

Short Post, more tommorow, just wanted to show level 2 of Spy of the city, if you haven't seen other updates of the game, but want to, you should by going to the news section on my profile. This is going to be the last picture of game that i release to the public.

UDK: Working on it tommorow.
SOTC: 40% done!
Evercon '09 game: planning.

Evercon is a school event we have at my school, i have been asked to make a game that people can play during the event. So this must be mulitplayer... no problem, i got a programmer! BTW, i might make SOTC mulitplayer.

Spy of the City Update!

Posted by TheWitchBoi - November 8th, 2009

This is it, this is the thing I have looking for forever! It's the engine that runs those games produced by Epic Games (creators of Gears of Wars, Unreal tournament, etc). I guess this system allows you to make your own games with their engine. I have it installed at my newest workstation right now, but will have it installed at my other workstation very soon.

Hey! Wanna make a Video game production group? Just send me a PM and we'l be in touch!

Spy of the city: Going very well, i don't see any reason to quit on it i the near future. Started the next level 2 days ago, coming out very nice and neat!

Spy of the City is going very well! I now await some programmers to assist me in making this (as i do not know how to make a platformer) which will take some time. As you can see, Level 1 is being made, i'm not going to say where the level takes place, but here's a little hint, all take place in Major Places.

I guess i should tell the story behind Spy of the City:
You are a underground spy protecting your fair city from danger, but your greatest enemy, an Evil Spy (name not decided) is making his most diabolical plan yet! He will enslave the city if you don't stop him! His bases are located all over the world! So as you get to one, you shall enter it and attempt to find and stop him. There will be a total of 5 worlds (10 levels w/ bases included) to play. It's a platformer game with lots of enemy's.

If i find a Programmer this month. Expect it around late December.

Break-In wise: I don't think i'm going to be able to submit it. Something is wrong with it and it's not the characters coding. If you think you can identify the problem quickly, send me a PM regarding you'd like to take a gander, give me your E-Mail address and I'll send you the .fla file.

Breaking News!

Posted by TheWitchBoi - October 25th, 2009

I've been working on the game while i wait to go back to my other place and Work on the Zelda Flash.

I've been really keeping an eye on stuff that Edmund Mcmillen has been working on. I recently beat his game Time Fcuk, it's very confusing yet fun! But now i realised in one of his videos, i can test my games with an Xbox360 Controller! I really want to try that soon!

Here's the Progression on my Projects:

Spy of the City: 25%
Zelda Flash: 19%
BBS Racing: 10%

Spy of the City Rebirth!

Posted by TheWitchBoi - October 16th, 2009

Well, putting all this effort into these 3 projects i have in the making, it's tough to handle as of now. I've mainly been doing the Zelda flash, Which is so far called "Link's Lesson in Love". I mostly spent time doing the first backround, but this will be perfect when finished, see the screenshot! Here's the projects list:

Link's Lesson in Love: Much effort is being put into it, but running into problems with camera and pictures of how links house looks on the inside...

BBS Racing: Being worked on very little right now, with me having Adobe Flash CS4 now, i'm afraid the file for BBS Racing (which i'm making in Macromedia Flash 8) will change and I won't be able to work on it at my first workstation.

Break In: Might finish it sometime soon, but these other projects are constantly keeping me away from working on it. I want to get the hit-test corrected so they don't keep coming up as script errors on websites...

Good thing today: Got my Halloween decorations setup! Spooky as hell!
Bad thing today: MORE DETETION AT SCHOOL! UGH!!

Daily Progression #1

Posted by TheWitchBoi - October 14th, 2009

Well, now i have become extremely busy so for now, i'm not going to do anything until i get BBS Racing done and this new side project i'll tell you about in a second. Here's what's going on so far with my projects.

BBS Racing: I got all track designs finished so now i have to develop a story to go along with the game for it's story. Then develop AI for enemy racers and put tracks into the game.

New Project: This is something i'm doing for greatwh1teshark, he let me join his group which is called Open Ocean Productions. So maybe for a little bit, if all goes well, i'll be doing animations for a while. I'll just let you know what kind of movie it is for now, it's a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Tim parody.

Now for the good day and bad day post:

Good Thing today: Got a bunch of music.
Bad thing: Got a detention at school today :D.

Here's a screenshot of me working on the Zelda flash.

New side project along with Racing!
