Hey all,

Firstly, massive appreciation to anyone who reads these, support from folks like you give me more reason to make cool things on the internet. So I wanted to throw out a couple of updates since its been roughly a year since my last entry.

So firstly - Under The Arcana Sky. I teased this about a year ago, and I haven't really had much to show for it. I ended up doing another semester at my 3D Animation school to hone my skills a bit more in hopes for a job in the field. Still working on getting a job, but in the mean time, this has been a fun thing I've been wanting to do now. Its been decided its a Visual Novel. Currently going through Pre-Production, hoping to have more new on this soon. Secondly - Some 3D stuffs! I animated another scene, was pretty fun to work with an ex-Dreamworks Pro on this one. Lots could be tweaked, but overall I am very happy with it, and its def my best work to date. Much more to learn and do. Check out my latest Demo Reel below!

Some notes on other projects I've had kicking around in the past that I wanted to touch on in case anyone ever asked about them lol:

Vin The Witch - I did release the storyboarded version of the movie that I wanted to work on, but she has vastly changed now, both in personality and design. The story isn't really true to how I wanted to show her (that was the biggest problem with this character, never knew what I wanted to do with her)

No-Brainer Series - FOLKS THIS ONES DEAD, PLEASE DON'T ASK ABOUT EPISODE 6 PART 2. IT AINT HAPPENING.

Truthfully, NB was a blast to work on back in the day, but as I've grown older, we can all see it was trying to be Eddsworld a little too much. Absolutely loved that NB had his biggest exposure moment on Oney Plays of all places WATCH THE CLIP HERE. They ended up playing the Turn Based Game Attempt I made a long long time ago. Some people said he was a crappy Marge Simpson OC lmfao. They were right. NB will always have a special place in my heart, but his run is over. If you think it should continue, leave a comment.

Well, this has been a fun update to make. As I write this, the future at my job is looking pretty bleak, and I'm going to need to find new work soon. Maybe there's a world where I can finally make content creation my main focus, but who knows. I'd need a following for that!

Hey all, been a minute since I posted, so let me bring you up to speed, if you're interested.

Graduated from Animation Mentor! That was pretty cool, well worth the investment. I may even end up going back to pursue video game animation. I feel like now is the time to really keep mastering these skills and keep going. I had a little bit of setback in my life this past Summer unforunately, but we keep pushing through.

So you might be curious what i'm working on right now (maybe?). So here's an image I quickly threw together lol

Ok but seriously, what is this.

So this is a new project im starting up. Already have the characters and base plot outline ready to go. Just need to figure out if Ren'Py is my best option of sharing this story, or possibly RPG Maker. Both seem satisfactory when it comes to telling stories in a video game. No, there wouldn't be any RPG Elements in the RPG Maker version haha.

Under The Arcana Sky (or UTAS for short) is going to be a medium sized story told in the form of a Visual Novel. This project is still pretty early, but I get giddy about these kinds of things and like to talk about stuff when I can. Im hoping to have something more concrete to show by end of the month. Hold me to it! Ideally, I'd love to get this released on Steam, but if thats not possible, may have to think of some other routes.

You may see some character concepts drop here from time to time, so make sure to follow if you wanna keep seeing how these characters shape-up. I'm also possibly going to be looking for artists to collaborate with (Drawing and Music.) There's a lot to discover with this world, and I think having multiple artists work on this would be amazing. But small steps at first. I'm excited to bring you this project, whenever its ready to go. Hopefully, as I said, by September 30th I will have something to show for it.

Hey all,

First off, thanks to all the followers who want to keep up and see new stuff. Eventually I try to make something. Right now, all my time has been dedicated to working on school (Animation Mentor). My Cintiq also straight up died, it won't display my screen anymore, even after downloading new drivers and buying new adapters for my pc. It was the old 22HD model, so it hurts to let it go. Probably will end up buying a 22 inch one from XP PEN. So that's...also another reason why things haven't been coming lol.

Here's a screen shot of what I've been working on right now. It's a dramatic scene of a cashier at a fast food place. Gotta dress up the character and background still.

My goals this year are to finish school, and then hopefully put out something small for my OC Vin. The story is still kind of a mystery, but I just need to pull the trigger on something eventually. Its been a WIP for like 5-6 years at this point. I've also toyed around with the idea of doing a visual-novel to show off the main story.

I may be on the lookout for someone to model/rig some characters for me as well. If you're experienced in making models/rigs, let me know!

TL;DR:

-Working on school, should be done this year

-Hopefully I get a personal project out sometime this year or beginning of next.

Hey there everyone

I know I dont really get much interaction here, but I might as well just vent about my case.

Recently ive been having sort of this internal crisis, where I feel my art hasn't improved at all over the years. I think I haven't allowed myself to improve. Im taking some art classes and I expect to be busy with them. Im swallowing my pride and going to attempt to start over. I want to be better. So unfortunately, I'm not going to be planning any major projects until further notice. Im sorry. Its just something I gotta do.

I posted about 4 new drawings a couple of days ago, and got really mixed reception on the ones I thought would be good and bad. It seems like the least effort I put into a drawing the more praise it got. The Tapeworms one I spent about 2 hours on, and it was the least viewed/liked. The Gandalf took about 20 minutes and got more favs and views, and got a score (5 votes) that the others didnt even get. Needless to say, I think my rendering part of drawings needs major improvement, another reason for me trying to do some classes.

Im just not comfortable doing projects and art right now because im just not happy with anything im doing. If you went to an art school, or learned on your own, what were some things that helped you be better along the way?

So now that the reanimateds are out of the way, now i can focus on personal projects! Been FINALLY working on Vin The Witch, my project ive wanted to start for SO DAMN LONG now. At first it was going to be a Animated Series, then it was going to be a short animated series, now its a comic lol. I cant seem to make up my mind. I think in the end, its going to end up being a Hybrid sort of like Homestuck, with Animations and Comic Panels. Write now im drafting the 1st chapter, im on page 7 of like 12 or 14. My goal is to hit a minimum of 12 pages per chapter. I think that will do well. I'll keep you guys posted with how everything goes.

Hey all, been a while since I last posted.

Gonna make a brief update here:

-Finished projects for 2 more Re-Animated projects, one of which is for @the3GI on Twitter. He conducted the whole thing known as Shrekfest and Shrek Re-told, which got over 4 MILLION VIEWS. Im excited to see these projects come to life soon!

Been doing commissions on the side for some folks as well, so thats great.

My last post discussed some life stuff. Everythings been wonderful so far! Feeling very good about life, and once all the side projects are done for others, im going to FINALLY (HOPEFULLY) focus on Vin.

Hey there all,

So last we spoke (and no one cared lol) I was saying im going through some stuff. Still am, but things have gotten a lot better, and they are only getting better! I have a new apartment as of December 1st, and I got a new car, so things have been pretty good as of late. Also lost like 20 pounds so go me!

As for upcoming projects, I have Vin really wanting to claw her way out of the cage for 2020, which I defintely want to make a priority this coming year. Im waiting for the apartment and some other things to happen before committing to it, like collabs and stuff.

So the collabs I'm part of that have yet to come out are the Donkey Kong Re-Animated Collab, and the Cuphead Musical Collab. Haven't finished the cuphead scene quite yet, but were getting there eventually lol. Both are set to relase in 2020, so look out for those!

Hey yall,

So believe it or not, the day I made that last post of mine, me and my fiance' split. Still going through a big life change at the moment, getting things back on track with my life. Its been pretty rough at the moment. But i'm hanging in there. Sometimes you gotta take care of life before your other shit. I'm basically having to hit the reset button on life right now, so please be patient. Things are hopefully picking up soon. I'm planning to be back in the swing of things in October or November.

One of the first projects I am planning on doing is called "THE 6 YEAR RECAP." Since 2013, a lot of shit has happened to me. Plans failed, relationships ended, life resets, projects dumped, or put on hiatus. Its going to go through all of that. Im really excited to give you my life story if you'll hear me out lol

Next, I have been thinking of some funny shorts involving Vin (my witch character). They will be quick minute long animations. Then if hype picks up, start the main story.

So yeah. Life sucks, but hey i'm still not dead so thats a bonus. Catch ya later yall
